Bersih 3.0

Quite a while I did not post any golf activities here. Today I am writing some non-golf activities as I am sadden by the recent happenings in the City!

After missing the last 709 Bersih 2.0 rally, I decided to attend the 428 Bersih Rally. At around 9.30am on 28/4, I took the LRT from the Kelana Jaya station to meet up with my brother in law and nephew at KL Central station. We then continued our journey to Masjid Jamek Station. At about 10:30am, we came out from the Masjid Jamek Station and walked to Jalan Tun Perak. There, we saw the street was filled with people from all walks of life. Everybody, regardless of races was happily marching, singing and chanting. What a true 1-Malaysia spirit!  What a long lost scene which we witnessed 30-40 years ago! With these thoughts, I walked and squeezed myself through the whole of Jalan Tun Perak and heading towards the Dataran Mederka. Indeed, I enjoyed so much!

I left Jalan Tun Perak at about 2.45pm by LRT from Masjid Jamek  to Kelana Jaya and was in very high spirits after witnessing  and participate in this mammoth rally! Later,  I was totally shocked that our Police Di Raja once again used forces to attack this harmless group of rakyat who were performing their basic duty as citizens and urging the government to have a clean and fair election! What they have done wrong to warrant such a treatment!!

Later in the evening, I visited my mother and was served with these tasty paos. An 80+ year old lady like her also did her part in asking for a clean and fair election and also a clean environment for her children and grandchildren in this beautiful country.

Bravo to all the Rakyat who had attended this rally! My sympathy to all the people who were injured by our POLICE.

God blessed!
